Fox wears the brand properly. The strap is printed edge to edge in an abstract topographic pattern — the looping, nested contour lines of a map showing height — and the running fox sits over the top of it, raised off the surface so it stands clear of the print behind. The WINFOX wordmark runs vertically down the outer edge.
It is a busier design than anything else in the women's range, but it holds together because the whole thing is two tones: the contour lines, the fox and the wordmark all sit in one colour against the strap in another. Nothing competes.
Underneath, the footbed is moulded in soft wave ridges running the width of the foot, shaped through the arch, on a lightweight sole soft enough for a full day.
This colourway is black with the contour lines and fox picked out in deep burgundy — dark on dark, so the print reveals itself up close rather than announcing itself across a room.
