This Privacy Policy explains how DURGA TRADING CO ("WinFox", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit www.winfoxfootwear.com or buy from us. By using our website, you agree to this policy. 

1. Who we are 

WinFox is a footwear brand operated by DURGA TRADING CO, with its registered address at Plot No. 128-129, Phase VI, Sector 37, Gurugram, Haryana 122001. For data protection purposes, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data we collect. 

2. Data we collect 

• Information you give us: name, phone number, email address, shipping and billing address, and messages you send to customer support. 

• Order information: products purchased, order value, payment method type and transaction ID. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password; these are handled directly by our payment partner. 

• Account information: if you create an account, your login details and order history. • Automatically collected data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, time spent, referring website, and cookies (see section 4). 

• Return and exchange details: for COD refunds, the bank account or UPI ID you provide to receive your refund. 

3. How we use your data 

1 To process, ship and deliver your orders, and to handle returns, exchanges and refunds. 2 To send order confirmations, shipping updates and delivery notifications by SMS, email or WhatsApp. 3 To respond to your questions and complaints. 

4 To prevent fraud, including verifying Cash on Delivery orders. 

5 To improve our website, products and service. 

6 To send offers and updates, only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time. 7 To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records. 

4. Cookies and tracking 

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use our site. We use analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to measure performance and show relevant ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site, such as the cart, may not work without them. 

5. Who we share your data with 

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with: 

• Payment partners such as Razorpay to process payments and refunds. 

• Logistics partners to deliver orders and collect returns.

• Technology providers such as Shopify (our e-commerce platform), email, SMS and WhatsApp service providers, and analytics and advertising platforms. 

• Government or law enforcement, when required by law or a valid legal request. 

These partners may process data on servers outside India. We require them to protect your data with reasonable security safeguards. 

6. How long we keep your data 

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Order and invoice records are kept for up to 8 years to meet tax and accounting laws. Marketing data is deleted once you unsubscribe and ask us to delete it. 

7. How we protect your data 

Our website uses SSL encryption. Access to customer data is limited to staff and partners who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we follow reasonable security practices under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules. 

8. Your rights 

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to: 

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you. 

• Correct, update or complete inaccurate data. 

• Ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law. 

• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time. 

• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity. • Raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India. 

To exercise these rights, email support@winfoxfootwear.com with the subject "Data Request". We will respond within 30 days. 

9. Children 

Our website is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Parents or guardians may place orders on behalf of minors. 

10. Changes to this policy 

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with a new "Last updated" date. 

11. Grievance Officer 

In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month of receipt.
