WINFOX Martin Padded Slides for Men — Charcoal / Orange

Martin is the only pair in the range with a fabric upper. The strap is a technical ripstop woven in a fine grid, padded underneath so it sits soft against the instep rather than pressing on it — the cushioning here is in the strap as much as the footbed.

It is cut through with narrow slots that open onto a contrast layer beneath, and a run of zigzag stitching crosses the panel in a second contrast colour. The WINFOX wordmark sits on a dark inset panel through the middle. Three colours, three textures, one strap — busy up close, graphic from a distance.

Underneath, the footbed is deeply moulded with a raised toe ridge and a cupped heel, on a thick rounded midsole. This colourway runs a charcoal grey strap with black slots, a burnt orange wordmark and matching orange stitching, on a grey footbed and a black sole. It is the warmer and the louder of the two.

• Padded ripstop strap — technical woven fabric over padding, so the strap gives against the instep instead of pressing into it.
• Cut-out slots — narrow openings through the strap onto a contrast layer beneath, which is what gives the panel its depth.
• Contrast zigzag stitching — a run of stitching across the strap in its own colour, separate from both the fabric and the slots.
• Deeply moulded footbed — a raised toe ridge and a cupped heel on a thick rounded midsole, so the foot is held rather than resting flat.
• Sizes 6 to 11 — six sizes, one width.
• Fabric care — wipe with a damp cloth and air dry fully. The woven strap holds water, so do not soak or machine wash it.
