Joya is built around the footbed. It is moulded in a quilted diamond pattern, punched through with fine perforations, and contoured with a raised arch and a cupped heel — so the foot sits down into a shape rather than standing on a flat board. Underfoot it gives softly and keeps giving; this is the softest footbed in the women's range.
The upper is a padded V-strap that meets at a toe post, cut in a soft matte finish with tonal topstitching following the curve of the strap and the fox monogram set at the join. It is a thong sandal rather than a slide, so the foot is held at the toe as well as across the instep.
Underneath, a gum-toned midsole with a fine ribbed edge carries separate textured pads at the heel and forefoot. This is the tan colourway — the warmest of the three, and the one that reads most as summer footwear.
