Floura puts two wide straps across the foot and crosses them over the instep, so the hold comes from two directions instead of one band. The straps are cut from a woven fabric rather than moulded — a fine jacquard with a small interlocking ring motif running through it, so the pattern sits in the weave and you can feel it under a thumb rather than only see it.
Underneath is a proper platform. The midsole is deep and finished in a fine horizontal rib around the whole sidewall, which is what gives the shoe its height without making it look heavy. The footbed is moulded in a quilted diamond pattern and punched with fine perforations, contoured with a raised arch and a cupped heel.
This colourway runs the strap in cream with the motif in soft grey, on a matching beige footbed and sole — the lightest of the three and the easiest to wear with pale summer clothes.
